I bought Hunk recently and was told he is about 5 years old. We bred him with our ewe, and now my husband says I have to sell him because he doesn't want me to continue expanding my little flock. Hank is friendly, but will try to butt you if there is an ewe around (which I read is normal). He was sheared 3 months ago and is growing a really cool red mane. I will post some pictures soon, but you are welcome to come meet him and check him out for yourself.

The cow is Tina (non-registered) and she is around 8 years old. This calf is her 5th since I bought her in early 2006. She is a great mother and calves without any trouble. We need to find her a good home as our other cows have horned and so she is dominated by the others. She should calve late June to mid July
***
The calf was born August 1st early evening and it is a bull calf. Tina on his birthday in the taken that afternoon. His name is baldHead, baldy for short and has a beautiful brindle hide and is also available October 15th for 90 days if you need a bull to service your girls. ($50.00 a cow). He is very calm and friendly and makes great babies. He is 5 years old.
***
The meat of this type of bovine is sweet and very lean. Our cows are grass fed, and could be considered organic as they do not get any hormones, etc. and we do not put any chemicals on our fields. They eat brush, swamp grass, field grass, blackberries, etc. We do feed them alfalfa in the winter months when the grass is gone.

We can help in making arrangements in delivery as we have a trailer (depending on your location).

add to favorites Corriente bulls for sale Colorado $650.00

We have a couple of really nice Corriente bulls for sale. They will produce excellent roping cattle. Would be a great cross for your longhorn cows or first calf heifers.
Both are black with a brown topline, very gentle, not fence jumpers and broke to the feed sack and truck horn. The first is a 5 year old from the Broken Horn Ranch. He would have been registered but I raise commercial Corrientes and didn't want to pay the extra $400 to have him registered. The second is a 4 year old and is from the Ready To Rope Ranch. He is registered and has been shown and placed in roping classes. These are both excellent bulls will great tempements and from very reputable breeders. I am shifting my breeding progarm and need new bloodlines. Both are guarenteed sound and fertile.
$650 for the 4 year old and $700 for the 4 year old. I'd take $1200 for both.

UPDATE: The registered bull is sold. Make an offer on the 4 year old. He is pictured on the left.

We are selling 15 “family cows” that you can milk at home (ie: milk that you can use for your household or to feed your small animals with!). Or, if you are a Dairy Farmer looking to expand your existing herd, you can make an offer on a group of cows based on your needs. The selection includes Pure Jerseys, Holsteins, and a few Jersey/Holstein Mixed Breeds. The asking price is $1200-$1600 for some of the younger stock (3-5 year olds), but we do have a few “older gals” that we would be willing to sell for less money based on your choices—so come on up and pick out your choice!

These cows are GREAT milkers! 5 Jerseys, 5 Holsteins, and 5 Crosses. Each at various stages of lactation. Currently a tie stall herd. Really good grazers, and 13 of the cows are milking right now! We also have some mixed breed calves for sale (Holstein-Jersey mixed) @ $200 and Jersey bulls for $35.

Please note that we have a cattle trailer and would be willing to deliver if you can’t pick them up (cows ONLY, calves must be picked up here). Come on over to scenic Vermont and take a look! All off our stock is from certified organic herd
